UCONN NIL COLLECTIVE RAISES $3.0M AHEAD OF NATIONAL TITLE DEFENSE

UConn's NIL collective has raised $3.0M for the 2026-27 season, a 25% increase from last year, as the Huskies look to defend their national championship.

UConn's NIL collective has raised $3.0M for the 2026-27 season — a 25% increase from the previous year — as the Huskies look to defend their national championship with a roster that returns four of five starters.

The fundraising surge reflects the program's elevated national profile following back-to-back national championships. UConn's collective has added over 2,000 new donors since the 2026 title game, with an average donation of $1,200 — well above the national average for college basketball NIL collectives.

Head coach Dan Hurley has used the increased NIL resources strategically, retaining two key players who had considered entering the NBA Draft and adding one high-profile portal transfer to address depth at the power forward position.

BasketBoss projects UConn at +13.7 scoring margin for 2026-27 — 8th in D1 — a slight dip from their championship season but still comfortably in national title contention. The Huskies open as the projected No. 1 seed in the Big East Tournament.
